Early Days as a Preschool Teacher

So, let’s rewind a bit. I spent several years working with preschoolers, and boy, did that teach me a thing or two about patience, understanding, and the art of capturing those genuine moments. In the preschool world, every day is an adventure, and you have to be quick on your feet to catch those little sparks of joy, curiosity, and sometimes, chaos. This experience honed my skills in observing and connecting with people, especially the little ones. I learned that the most magical moments often happen when you least expect them.

Adventures in Summer Camp and After-School Programs

Then came my role as a summer camp and afterschool program director. Now, that was a whole different ballgame. Coordinating activities for kids of various age groups taught me the importance of flexibility and creativity. No two children are the same, and tailoring experiences to suit their unique personalities and interests became my daily mission. This experience also reinforced the idea that it’s the experiences and the people we share them with that truly matter.
