Clean, uncluttered backgrounds are the best and easiest way to give your images more impact. Avoid bold colors and busy patterned backgrounds. They are distracting and compete with the objects of your content.
Take a moment to look around your house. I’m sure you have great background options. White bed sheets, wood tables, neutral colored floors, and marble countertops are popular because they’re clean and available.
I have a set of Replica Surfaces that I use as well as surfaces around my home. They are durable and stain-resistant. I highly recommend them.

Y’all know natural light is my JAM! In my opinion, it’s the best way to light your the images you’re creating. It’s available everywhere and FREE! The best natural light can be found next to a window on the shady side of your house or outside in the shade. Avoid direct rays of sunshine so you don’t get harsh shadows and extreme contrast in your photos.

All photos can benefit from some sort of post-shoot editing. There are some fantastic photo apps you can use to edit your photos right on your phone. My favorites is Lightroom Mobile. Tweaking the crop, exposure, contrast, saturation, and clarity are the easiest ways to make your content photos really pop. I suggest you play around with the different tools to get the look you are trying to achieve.
